Professor Bettina Harriehausen-Mühlbauer has studied Computer Science and Computational Linguistics and has received her PhD from the University of California, Berkeley. After 13 years of industrial experience at IBM's research labs in Yorktown Heights/USA and Heidelberg/Germany, she has accepted a tenure position at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt/Germany. Her main fields of interest and research are A.I., Natural Language Processing and Mobile Applications. In 2013, Prof. Harriehausen-Mühlbauer has received an honorary professor position at Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunication, honoring her work in Computer Science in international projects.

Mobility has become a part of our daily life and a key feature of current IT projects. This talk will give an overview to the rapid development and relevance of mobility in projects, as well as address some of the problems that arise in parallel. To illustrate the message of the talk, two current sample projects will be shown.
