Dr. Kevin Foltz is a research staff member at Institute for Defense Analyses. He works on Enterprise Level Security (ELS) in support of the Air Force and Department of Defense to provide secure communication and collaboration. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology and degrees is mathematics, computer science, and strategic security studies from Rice University and National Defense University.

Delegation is a key to good leadership. It is also something non-leaders do every day to get things done. This talk looks at some of the ways we commonly use delegation and how to use delegation in a more structured way in a business environment. The goal is to make delegation more formal, traceable, and verifiable so that it can be used as an integrated part of normal business.
